New York, N.Y. – Sonenshine Partners LLC today announced the promotions of Jennifer Doré Russo, Cyrus Deboo and Phil Kwun.
Jennifer Doré Russo, who joined Sonenshine Partners in July 2004, has been promoted to the position of Director. Ms. Russo has close to 15 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. She has advised companies across a broad spectrum of development, from large multinationals to startups. Most recently, Ms. Russo was a Director at Counsel Corporation, where she was responsible for restructuring and exiting underperforming portfolio investments in the healthcare, consumer and technology sectors. Ms. Russo graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
Cyrus Deboo has been promoted to the position of Vice President. Mr. Deboo joined Sonenshine Partners in February 2000. Mr. Deboo formerly worked at GE Capital, where he was involved in a broad range of strategic and financial planning matters. Mr. Deboo holds a BA from Yale University.
Phillip Kwun, who joined Sonenshine Partners in October 1999, has been promoted to the position of Vice President. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kwun was an investment banker at BT Wolfensohn, the mergers and acquisitions division of BT Alex. Brown and its successor firm, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Mr. Kwun holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Philosophy from Yale University.
