Renewable energy developer GreenHunter Energy Inc., based in Grapevine, Texas, has appointed Stuart W. Ray and Robert Zahradnik as independent directors for the company.
Ray is an executive with experience in the financial services and energy industry. He currently is a partner in Sonenshine Partners, a boutique investment banking firm in New York City. He is also a partner in Urban American Partners, which identifies, acquires and operates portfolios of working class housing in metropolitan areas.
Zahradnik is the operating director of the Southern Ute Growth Fund. He has been employed by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe since 1988. He currently is chairman of the board of Panther Energy, a private Tulsa,Okla.-based exploration and production start-up specializing in mid-continent unconventional horizontal drilling plays.
Sonenshine Partners is a leading independent investment bank focused on providing integrated strategic, financial and corporate advisory services. The firm was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in New York City.
